About the Wine
The 2017 Frank Family Zinfandel is a Napa Valley blend consisting of 91% Zinfandel and 9% Petite Sirah. This wine is made from both estate and purchased grapes, including older plantings in the valley. It is stored 16 months in 33% new French oak barrels, and 67% once and twice-filled French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes
This rich, black fruit driven wine presents integrated ripeness, texture and complexity. Brambly blackberry and black cherry are accentuated by smatterings of crushed pepper and cinnamon on the full-bodied palate. The perfect amount of acid and tannin balance out the concentrated palate, leading to an expansive finish.
Food Pairings
This Zinfandel pairs beautifully with tomato based pasta dishes, red meats and barbecued dishes. It will also be a lovely pairing to any dish crafted with cinnamon, clove, or allspice.
The Wine Down
The Frank Family Zinfandel is a stunning and elegant wine. This full bodied Zinfandel is a great wine to serve during this holiday season. I highly recommended.
You can find this bottle from $35 to $40
