About the Wine
The Zuccardi Serie A range demonstrates the richness and diversity of Argentina’s many micro-climates and soils. Serie A stands for “Argentina Series” as the way of expressing their most representative grape varieties by recognizing the best growing regions specific to each. The Serie A Malbec is a blend from three different sites, each providing an essential component that makes the wine more complete and complex.
It is a 100% Malbec, ABV 13.9
This Malbec has a purple-black color and is bursting with blackcurrant an plum aromas. It is full-bodied with rich black cherry and chocolate notes and a velvety finish. All grapes are from the estate vineyard in the Uco Valley, and exceptional are for Malbec, with the perfect combination of altitude and stony soils with large rock deposits, giving the wine fine fresh, spicy notes and structured, yet soft, tannins.
The pairing secret of Malbec is that it works well with pepper, sage, creamy mushroom sauces, melted cheese, and in particular, blue cheese. This Malbec will hold up well with dark meat poultry, roasted pork, and leaner cuts of red meat, such as sirloin, hanger and skirt steak.
