About the Wine

Halos de Jupiter Côtes du Rhône is a collaboration between Philippe Cambie and famous winemaker Michel Gassier. This wine reflects richness and elegance. This medium to full bodied wine is a blend of 75% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre. It is a fruit-forward wine that has tons of ripe red and blue fruits, earthy florals and cracked pepper spice. The Rhône Valley is one of the most historic and prolific wine regions in France producing some of the best wines.

Winemaker Notes

Libra, charismatic and pure, offers up a dark and concentrated Côtes du Rhône with unique finesse and balance. The complementarity of terroirs from both banks of the Rhône River Signargues, Cairanne and Rasteau evokes an exemplary expression of Grenache, richly flavored and generous.

Food Pairings

Carne Asada is a tender steak marinated in a delicious bath of garlic, herbs, and spice, then grilled to perfection. These delicious go well with this Cotes du Rhone.

The Wine Down

Excellent Côtes du Rhône at a very reasonable price point. Can drink now but it is suitable for aging for up to five years.
